Poorly made - broke after 3 months.

Just 3 months after plugging into the cigarette lighter I first removed it to clean the area, the pin at the tip of the plug fell out and got into my lighter causing the fuse to blow and hit the lighter renders it unusable. So don't buy. Poorly made. waste of money.

Great for travel and works well.

Ideal for on the go. Fits well in the cup holder and works well. need a cigarette Lighter for my radar detector and DVR. The digital readout on the USB ports is good but I can't tell if it really pulls 2.4 and qc 3.0 as I don't have a tester. But it seems to calculate the usual time for my iPhones. Overall I am happy with my purchase and the quality of this product.

A great way to keep all of our devices charged!

This is a great way to expand your car's charging capabilities. I have two children and when we are traveling it can be difficult to keep all our phones charged. That I have more than enough slots for chargers. My fast chargers also work in this device. It takes up a cup holder, but if you can refuse it, it more than makes up for it. As a side note, it was nice that it has a small screen that shows the volts coming from the car battery.

Fine, but it doesn't light cigarettes or many of the other expected socket usages.

It works great and looks good but many of the plug-in items you would expect like lighters don't work. For $17 it was a good deal, it just has to work with all outlets. My cigarette lighter and LED bulb that should work do not work because the socket is not exactly the same as the original. The voltmeter works fine but reads too high when the engine is on because it increases the voltage a bit. What you need to do is use the motor's operating voltage as a standard to know when the battery power

Works great in the car

Bought the second one. VERY useful when your car is limited or when the "cigarette lighter" socket is difficult to reach. BOTH seems to be happening in our 2018 Buick Encore. We connect it and use it for all our iPhones or other devices. In this form it is placed in a cup holder, but you can put your hand on the side, the cord is long enough. I think this is REQUIRED when a lot of people in the car forget to charge their devices. I also like the fact that you can cover the "holes/sockets" whenโ€ฆ

Many sockets: 3 12V + 2 USB. Buy this one if you don't need the built-in inverter.

Fits 2012 Mini Countryman cup holders, a little loose but better than too tight. I took this and not the inverter as it has a total of 3 12v outputs, two on the top of the unit and one on the top of the plug. Two switches control 12V outlets, not USB outlets. Both USB ports charge fast and are acceptable, you don't need a separate 12V USB port to get good charging speeds. I covered the voltmeter with tape since it was bright and distracting, but it seemed to work properly. The lighting aroundโ€ฆ

This multifunctional splitter/adapter works exactly as I expected.

My family is just as happy as I am that I chose this item. On previous trips, there wasn't enough room in my car to plug in their phones, and that didn't make them too happy. Additionally, I had no choice but to turn my GPS off so they could charge their phones occasionally, but then the GPS wouldn't hold a charge and turned off when I really needed it. Pros: - Charges Samsung Galaxy S8+ smartphone really fast via USB-A QC 3.0 port - Comes with cap sockets for supplied with three 12V sockets keeps dirt out when not in use - No interference with my car radio - Well made and well packaged Cons: - EXTREMELY BRIGHT display and LED backlight - Plugs into a 12V socket on the back of the splitter plug, causes too much weight when it is connected horizontally and road vibrations quickly cause the power plug to slip off. Function over form, it's not the prettiest, but it works and is well designed.

My car, which I use to drive to and from work, visit customers and workplaces, only has a USB A (2.0) port and a cigarette lighter socket. I have 2 smartphones, a tablet, a smartwatch and now a laser/radar detector and a laser shift setup that I power from the cigarette lighter as I will be trading cars every few years.
