Your invoices are already in Salesforce, however scattered across customers and sales records. So invoicing should simply involve automatically piecing these parts together, without re-keying a thing. This is what Invoices for Salesforce does. Simple !
It's so much easier to create an invoice from within my Salesforce account. I can also link the customer to their payment history which helps me keep track of all payments made for each of our clients. Sometimes it doesn't show up as paid but we've found that this only happens when certain conditions have been met (ie - if no one has logged into SF recently). Definitely recommend!
