Stay Cool and Comfortable with IO Crest Mini USB Powered Desktop Cooling Fan SY-ACC65055 Review

Nice little desktop fan that blows just the right amount of air. looks like the fans from the 20's and 30's. lol but nice design. Best of all, it can be used with AA batteries to make it fully portable, or with the included USB cable. However, it cannot be plugged into an outlet, so keep that in mind. By the way, it's also very quiet.

The fan has lasted about 5 years which would be nice with regular use. I used it lightly, about a dozen or two times a year for a couple of hours at a time. It looks like the oil has dried up and now the fan doesn't spin as easily and the motor can't spin without help. I was expecting this product to last longer considering how seldom it was used.

It's pretty quiet and moves enough air to be comfortable - I only use low speed most of the time. But it's not as quiet as it could be - the hum includes a distinct ticking.
