This is my second iOgrapher video rig. I am the proud owner of my first version of the iPad mini 2. It has been working great for 3 years now. It fits snugly to the iPad without damaging or scratching the device. It's fairly strong, with little to no flexing in the plastic during normal use. The base with tripod mount is durable and easy to connect. Finally, the iPad's lens hole fits the device perfectly, and adding a new lens was a breeze. This video system for my iPad worked very well. It was durable and didn't break after being dragged through three conferences. I like using my iPad for filming (I'm a social media manager), so my iPhone can post additional stuff, chat with people, etc. as long as my iPad is tethered. The plastic is thin but seems to hold the iPad in place unless you accidentally turn the knob a little then it springs in bit out because the plastic gives way (e.g. ice cube tray). Can be easily attached to a tripod. The "ergonomic" grips are not at all what they advertise (see picture). At first I thought I had received the wrong product, but the packaging was correctly labeled. The handles are not very comfortable. I'll leave it because it does what I need and I can't find a better solution…

I used the Ographer Filmmaking Case the day I received it. It was so easy to use and the video recording was fantastic, the iPad didn't shake or move at all. I liked the ability to use it on a tripod and the ability to add a microphone and lighting which made the decision very easy. I like that the product is made in the USA.

The plastic needs some deburring and covers the iPad's power button, leaving no room for controls. Otherwise it does what I need.
