So the clip the hooks to my dogs harness doesn't function properly and he has gotten off of it while casually walking 3 times this week. He runs away and I have to catch him. While we are walking I have to stop over and over and make sure it's hooked properly and it still ends up letting him free eventually. It is also ripping around the edges pretty bad. I have a 50 lb Australian Cattle Dog who can and has ripped my arm out of its socket with a regular leash. While I've only just tried it on her using a harness, it seems like it will be a giant aid in keeping her under control. I especially like the padded handle, no more wrapping the regular leash around my hand several times to keep it short and control her. She is learning to walk by my side (when she wants to), but I think this new leash will help her with that.

The leash is really well-made except for the buckle. It feels super cheap and came undone when the pup rolled around on the ground. We replaced it with a heavy duty clip because we do like the other features of the leash.

This leash is working well. Like the handle/grip near the clasp. Length is good and adjustable. Haven't tried the seat belt attachment yet, but will soon.

Because of the stretch it has, it is excellent for training. Makes it so much easier to correct a dog that pulls. I love that it has a buckle for the car. It makes everything easy. I don’t have to worry about anything else. Just put on her harness and leash and go. The handle is great for control too. I highly recommend. My dog loves it and so do I!

I like this! Has every feature you could want in a leash: seat buckle for car rides, D-ring for poop bag dispenser or keys, extra handles for getting a good grip, bungee for extra length, etc. Only thing is, it’s a substantial leash so would be too heavy for a tiny puppy. Ours was 15 lbs when we got him, but now that he’s 25 lbs, I use this more often.

So many good things to say about this leash. We bought it for our golden newfie (golden retriever x newfoundland), because he is going to be a big boy at around 100 lbs. Overall the leash is well made of decent materials. The latch is a different story. It's flimsy and has occasionally just opened up and unhooked the leash from my dogs harness. I've been lucky that it didn't happen in traffic. I put a small piece of heat shrink tubing on the latch to add a little more insurance against accidental opening and as an indicator that the latch is moving toward the open position. The "elastic" section takes a huge amount of force to stretch, it might as well not be there. Seriously like 40lbs of pull. If you were to use the car buckle the bungie would offer near zero shock absorption.The tubular webbing has something like a hard piece of rope stuffed inside the handle portion, it just feels cheap & awkward. I had ordered this leash and has a few problems with it. The seller saw I wasn’t thrilled with my purchase and reached out and sent a replacement. Now this is my go-to leash anytime I take my dog out. Love the seatbelt clip, my 55lb dog always feels secure when she’s in the car, and I dont have to worry about her wandering all around the car. I like the bungee cord, and am still able to keep my dog close to me when I need to. Very grateful the seller sent me a replacement.

Love the control the second handle gives me for walking my Pitbull puppy (he's 5 months old) and this leash is great for training him and for walking in new environments where he wants to be closer to me while not being in my way!I thought I'd love the car seat buckle, we've only use that feature once so far and I think we still have some getting use to it to do :)

So I bought this for my boarder collie who does not like people but for some reason she’s able to shake so hard that her leash would unclip. At first the little lock on the clip would stay put but now it slides back down and does not really lock. It worked great for a while and now it’s back to a regular leash, I figured something else out and still use the leash.

We like the feel of it, the quality is excellent and the seat buckle feature is nice, especially for short trips.Two things to consider:1. The extra handle is a little too close to the hook, so that it's uncomfortable to hold without stepping on your dog's tows.2. The hook has a little mechanism to lock closed, however, this has come lose for us two or three times, so that our dog suddenly was off leash. This leash is amazing. I Use it daily for my Great Pyrenees puppy. I love the built in seat belt clip. Makes it easy to take my puppy in the jeep safely with out needing another adapter.The "small bungee section"of the leash prevents the occasional puppy quick pulling from knocking me over. Will definitely buy more for my other 3 dogs.

I went through several of the detractable leashes before buying 2 of these for my pups. I use the seat belt latch quite a bit. This is one sturdy leash. If your dog is aPuller, the elastic helps from your arm getting jerked. There’s also aHandle closer up for when you want to keep your dog stationary. Very good leash.

It has saved my shoulder which was why i bought it, but the clasp needs double checked to make sure it is locked (kinda cheesey)
