Not suitable for computers and accessories

I bought 2 of these because I wanted to share videos and photos from my desktop PC with a relative who only has an iPad. I transferred the files to the drive with no apparent problems and thought it worked. However, although we installed the required software on the iPad according to the instructions, the files were not available, some disappeared altogether. Others just didn't open up. I tried again with the 2nd flash drive, same result. Sad.

Ridiculously slow transfer speeds

First, the Lightning connector is so short that it can't be used with any phone in a case - at least 50% of the population. Second. Estimated time to transfer 1GB of data was 7 hours. Too slow for practical use when backing up or even transferring files. I go back to the SanDisk card. At least their published speeds are nearly correct. The declared 20 to 40 MB per second simply do not occur in reality.

Not useful if you use it for an iPad with a USB-C connector

This product will not work if you have an iPad with a USB-C connector It comes with a USB-C adapter, so it makes sense that this would work with an Apple device that has a USB-C connector instead of a Lightning connector, but it doesn't. Technical support did not help. Do not purchase this item if you have a USB-C connection on your iPad.

Do not buy this flash drive

I bought this photo memory card to free up space on my iPhone. I can't get it to work! The instructions are written in the smallest imaginable font. I went to YouTube for help but the procedure used in this video didn't work for me. I will not be returning as he just copied my contact list from my phone! And I couldn't close it until I turned off my computer! What a waste of a day.

Confound! NOT easy or plug and play! Waste of time and money!

Says no app required. However, the first thing you have to do in the guide is to download it. It's not just plug and play, also with wired or OTG capacity. Then comes an excuse that it might not work. WHY can't instructions be written in CLEAR and CORRECT English? With all the translation programs available, there are no excuses. Or simply hire someone with sufficient training! THIS IS A WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY! Will return!

So far, so good! Works as it should. Slightly drains the iPhone battery.

You really need to download the app on your phone but it prompts you to do so once you connect it to your phone. I had to remove the case (tech21) for my phone to register the flash drive. The app is very simple and very easy to use. You can even create folders right on your phone through the app, and when uploading pictures and videos you can select specific ones or all at once! There is also an option to download your contacts who are unsure about other things like music and files from iPhone
