Let me first say it looks easy in the video... no! Screws - the smallest screws in the world! I wish this kit came with spare screws! We had one time when my daughter was using tweezers and the screw flew across the room... no one else saw it. I had to pull my super strong magnet out when the first two screws were gone... get ready - they bounce like super balls! The screen is great and apart from the screw issues it was amazing! I would buy this again. As described.

Upper new, lower old screen. The only difference is that my old screen had a black film. The hardest part is removing the screen. I followed the video step by step. The plastic card wasn't strong enough, but the metal pick worked fine. Everything as described. Removing the anterior chamber was difficult as the tweezers weren't strong enough to pull it out and you have to be very careful. With patience and with the tools provided, I was successful. Blast for the dollar! Better than more expensive options.

Good! So I have been in the DIY screen replacement business for many years and have done 10 to 15. I have always spent more on replacement screens to try and get a better product. I find this kit cheap but if you follow the instructions and also refer to the ifixit guide for help. you'll be fine. Screen replacements are usually either LCD or Hard OLED.
