Bit of very good quality. I used a cutter wheel to angle both sides into a "cup" drill tool for the guitar project (makes a recess in the curved surface for the control knobs). Sharpening is required to get the cutting surfaces working perfectly again.
The chisel I sent is missing the spurs on the outside edge which make for a clean cut. As others have noted, this change renders the tool unusable for anything but crude hack work. Somebody really messed it up. Neither Irvine nor Revane satisfied because of the anger
I bought 3 of these 1-1/4" bits for my angle bit to drill wire holes in basement ceiling joists. They were an idea because of the short shank. I drilled 62 holes in the 2x12 pine floor joists. I bought 3 of these drill bits but ended up only using 1. Even after drilling the last hole, the drill remained as sharp as the first hole. Definitely worth the price.
