Provides 4 levels of switch-controlled lighting – no dimmer required, just use your standard light-switch. 9 Watt output for reading, 4.5 or 2.3 Watt for relaxing, 0.2 Watt for safety or night-light. Direct replacement for a screw-fitting (E26/E27) 60 Watt, incandescent light bulb. Consumes 70-90% less energy than a normal incandescent or halogen light bulb. Much cheaper to run than incandescent or halogen lighting – has a 22+ year life expectancy.

Great bulb and works great

Great bulb and works great! Converts any standard light switch into a 4 position light switch. Please note that this lamp is NOT a replacement for a 3-way lamp.

This lamp is great! Works as described

Lightbulb is great! Works just as described. I use it in my son's room for general lighting and at night it works as a night light. I bought a second one for my room, it's light when needed and I can dim the light when I'm watching TV.

Love her, on our third!

This is my third lightbulb that I have bought. We love them as a night light for our young sons room on the lowest setting as a night light and keep one of these on the lowest setting in the kitchen for when we wake up in the middle of the night for a bottle. Allows us to easily increase the light at 2am without glare. They're a bit fast, but I don't feel bad since they're LED

I love these lightbulbs! in bulbs

I really like these bulbs. They are perfect for reading aloud! I assembled a vintage photo reflector on a lighting stand and thought I had the coolest reading lamp, but I couldn't find a bulb that was dim enough to use as the reflector amplifies the light. When I found these lightbulbs I didn't want to buy them so I bought one first. The lamp worked so well that I immediately ordered a second one. Love these bulbs best in Bulbs

I love these lamps! Not sure what other reviewers are saying about a slight difference in light output, which is definitely there. Of course, the difference between the two middle tiers is less than between the highest and lowest, but the difference is noticeable. If you only had one lightbulb it might not look like this, but I replaced my ceiling lights with them and if you have multiple lightbulbs in the same room the difference will be significant. Very competitive price compared to similar lamps.

Very affordable compared to similar lamps. Also, there aren't many low wattage 4-way bulbs on the market. They are easy to turn on and off. I tried the bulb in a vertical Ikea floor lamp and in the ceiling. They all work without problems for a couple of weeks. The difference between the brightness levels seems to be more noticeable on the ceiling than with a vertical floor lamp. I like to use the brightest level when working at home.
