Problems but great customer service

When this adapter works, it works great. Unfortunately almost from the start I had times where I couldn't connect my Macbook Air. I used it for a few days with no problems and then all of a sudden it stopped working and I couldn't connect (no changing settings or anything). I could usually play around with it for a while, reboot, and eventually it would connect, but things just kept getting worse. I can't connect at all right now. I can only connect the same monitor to my work laptop (Lenova)…

Recommend ! for computers and accessories

I received my iVanky Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Nylon Braided Adapter this morning. Looks and feels like a premium product. People complain that it doesn't support sound, you have to go to System Preferences > Sound and then switch from your laptop/desktop's built-in speakers to your TV speakers. Once you unplug the cable, it will switch back to the built-in speakers. Also for visuals, switch to Display in System Preferences to switch between mirroring or a second monitor. Will stop working before return date

I bought an iVANKY Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter Grey, Thunderbolt to HDMI Adapter based on reviews and it worked great for about a month and then suddenly stopped working on multiple displays. I replaced an old adapter I had and it works great. I'm at a loss as to why this one stopped working as there are no real moving parts and it hasn't been twisted or worn in any way that could damage the internal cable. Great build quality and works well

This is a good choice for a Thunderbolt/Mini Displayport HDMI Adapter. I use this with my 2012 MacBook Pro to connect to a monitor on my desk and occasionally connect to a TV screen for presentations. I also have a RevainBasics key that I use, so I'll compare them.
