I was looking for something that could give a crispy crust or turn sauces on food golden brown. It doesn't work for that. It just doesn't seem built for the task. The torch is not to blame. fire roars. Just wanted to color my sauces.

Great design. Works exactly how I hoped it would, allowing me to tilt the tip into different positions. But the ignition switch stopped working after less than a month. I would give 5 stars if it still lights up on its own.

Quality construction. The valve works smoothly and ensures the ideal flame temperature. This burner allows you to heat items under a propane tank without having to turn the tank upside down and fill the burner with liquid propane. This is one of the best gadgets I've come across in recent years.

Bought in July and used several times. The lighter stopped working, the wire fell out of the end and the spark stopped igniting the propane. It looks very durable and seems to last a long time, but it isn't. Some refinement was needed at the spark end. But I will try again as it is not that expensive and well designed.

Turning propane cylinders on their sides or upside down will put out the flames. I was looking for a solution to light a fire pit and coals in the grill. That's great! I bend the flexible neck 90 degrees, which keeps the propane tank upright and keeps the flame burning, especially when there is less propane in the tank.

Quality seems very good. The handle is very comfortable, rotating less than a full turn, ideal for quick release when needed. More expensive than some of the other alternatives, but also more adaptable due to the flexible hose.

This light rattled in my service truck causing the tip to loosen and fall off. Luckily I found it and screwed it back on. Just something to look out for when purchasing this item. Overall, I find the flashlight quite well made and well suited for my use. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for home use.
