good for the price and works well.

So let's start with the good points, it's multi-regional, it plays DVDs from ALL regions, it's pretty thin, it is easy to set up . Bad points: You have to use the key (x2) on the back of the player to play foreign DVDs (so don't lose the keys). The player itself is quite loud at times, but not always (occasionally), but for the price it's not too bad. The remote control is very small so if you have poor vision this will be a problem. The picture is ok for this DVD player, but not outstanding…

Pros
  • Plays all Blu-ray discs (A,B,C) in all zones
Cons
  • Not sure

Product as advertised

Player is good but takes time. I thought it was free Cinavia but it still haunts me. This is a universal player. Crystal clear picture and sound, and of course no region. However, the real test for leading brands will be durability. I had a Kogan 3D player, which is very similar in many features, but its HDMI port started to cause…

Pros
  • Plays all standard DVDs (0-8)
Cons

PAL/NTSC, region free player plays everything

I have an Oppo DVD player that plays everything. The kids have monopolized the TV in the living room so we decided to turn the guest room into a lounge with TV and DVD. I first got a $10 DVD player from HHGregg and yes you get what you pay for. Some discs played fine, but some higher bitrate stuff (e.g. when you get into action scenes) just stuttered, making the movies unplayable. Blu-ray players weren't much bigger than DVD players, so I ended up buying a Panasonic 3D. Blu-ray player, assuming

Pros
  • PAL/NTSC compatible (110-240 volts)
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
