This item in Hole Saws & Accessories

Not much to say here. This is a common mandrel for using cheap shaft assembly tools (such as wire wheels) with a grinder or drill. I have this to use with a 3" for my angle grinder and it works really well. For fun, the threads are 1/2-13 LH and the hardened steel nut is 3/4 OD.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time

Terrible Machining: Power Tool Parts and Accessories

Shaft Runout 1/4 is acceptable at +/- 0.005 (thousand inches). At the end of the assembly, where the blade or other tool was to be placed, the runout was between 0.005 and 0.015. You can actually see that it's deformed. This is totally unacceptable for a circular saw blade that requires very little runout. It would be ok for another instrument if you could handle the vibration.

Pros
  • Hole Saw Arbors
Cons
  • Something Else

Good quality so far, cheaper options exist but

Good quality but expensive for what it is. You can find pretty much the same thing at your local hardware stores for less than half the price. For example, search for Ryobi in HD. I was going to buy one there but it stayed in my Revain cart and I checked my phone not realizing it was still there. Sending it back makes no sense. I paid 9 for it, HD has less than 4.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Crumpled
