I have a huge dog who often gets his paws dirty. I needed a mat that I could place right outside my back door. This mat is the perfect size and absorbs wet/dirty paw prints. Saves some cleaning time (for my floor). It's also great for wet human tracks. I can throw it in the washing machine to wash it and it cleans well. I'm so glad I have this rug!

I was skeptical but decided to give it a try for such a good price. Worth every penny and will be ordering more! We live in a very sandy area and have trouble keeping track of tons of sand with 3 kids and 2 dogs but this helped a lot to keep it in the driveway. As soon as I opened the packaging of this rug, a lot of lint fell out. So I figured I'd better treat myself with a lint roller. Well, there was nothing "once" there. I must have used half of the lint roller tear-off sheets and am picking up more and more lint and fluff (see photo). This clay carpet is listed as a floor or mud carpet. However, I use mine for my bathroom because my kids always pour water on the floor when they get out of the shower or bath.
