Description of 🔧 IWISS Angled Head PEX Pipe Crimping Tool Kits: 1/2-inch & 3/4-inch Copper Pex Crimps with Go/No-Go Gauge & PEX Pipe Cutters – Compliant with US F1807 Standards

Purpose: IWS-C F1807 PEX Copper Crimp Ring Angle Tools are designed to secure 1/2 in. & 3/4 in. copper crimp rings into place within PEX piping systems. Compatibility: Ideal for connecting copper crimp rings made to ASTM F1807 standard (Sioux Chief, Watts, Nibco and other brands) with crimp style brass and poly PEX fittings manufactured to ASTM F1807/F877 or F2159 standards respectively (Everhot, Nibco, Watts, Zurn, Apollo, etc.). Secure Connection: Connections may be checked for security using the Go/No-Go Gauge (included). Each clamp ring shall be gauged to ensure that it has been crimped properly and for the accuracy of the tool. Compact Design: The angled head allows easier access to connections in tight spaces. There are no loose components, jaws to change, or adjustments to be made to create a connection. Smooth Mechanism: Smooth actuation mechanism allows secure connections with minimal force required. Hardened steel construction ensures reliability and durability. The plumbing tool set includes 1/2-in & 3/4-in PEX crimping tool, gauge tool as well as a PEX tubing cutter. 2 Pex crimping tool on hand tools

For example the 1/2" and 3/4" crimping tools are separate making them smaller than the Shark Bite combo crimping tool. Now I can reach tight places as it is not bulky and light weight. The price was a few bucks more but you get this cutter so it's worth it. Needed to replace bath/shower valves in existing walls. The Pex pipe is suitable for this type of repair.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Quality swaging tools

Very strong adjustable swaging tool, comes with swaging gauge, the pipe cutter worked better than expected with its sharpened blade compared to some straight cut pipe cutters. The tools crimp well but be prepared that you will need a good secure hold and grip. I recommend longer handle models for those with low arm strength. I own a house and don't use them every day. For the project I needed them for and for any future work they are perfect.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Discontinued

Highly recommended for power and hand tools

This set works so well I have ordered a second set. Compared to the more expensive set sold by my plumbing supplier, they are easier to use and when the crimps are checked with a gauge, they crimp perfectly. This whole set costs about the same as one of my supplier's 1/2 inch routers. Also, the cutters have the smoothest cuts I've found; I have ordered four additional cutters for my crews.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Updates

Worth buying!

I have remodeled my house in Pex. I was a bit skeptical because of their short handles but don't worry they work well. I use one hand for a 1/2" crimping tool, but I don't have enough arm strength to handle a 3/4" crimping tool. I love that they fit on a standard 16" center stud or beam set. Well made, requires no adjustment and constant crimping. You get extra leverage for hard-to-squeeze areas. Tip: To open the clamps for placement around the pipe, grasp one handle and pull back on the other…

  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Only available in black

Easier to use than expected. The build quality is better than expected.

At first I hesitated to buy them. Other reviewers have mentioned that it takes a lot of force to tighten the clamps. This made sense to me because the handles appear to be quite short. I thought it would be a good compromise to be able to work in a limited space. The crimper I had before was an Apollo 2-in-1 1/2"-3/4". The handles on this clamp are a good three to four inches longer, but after using these two clamps, iwiss also wins in terms of leverage. The pipe cutter is great too. Very happy

Pros
  • GOLS certification
Cons
  • Functionality

Decent tool. Well built. It has been used everywhere and every crimp has been executed to perfection. The handles are too short to gain leverage. My wife and daughter couldn't get enough crimping power. My hands are smaller and it took everything I could to get enough strength behind them to crimp them. If the handle design was a little different it would be 5 star pliers. I also wish they came on a case. Cheaper crimping machines have a cheap blow molded case to store them. They are delivered…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No productivity

A great set, an absolute must for tight spaces:

They go perfectly with my Zürn crimper. Unfortunately, YOU WEAR THEM, and BOTH hands (you won't be able to "hold" them with one hand like I was hoping) will hurt at the end of the day, especially from 3/4 on! After a dozen 3/4 crimps that was pretty much all I could do to make a few more and I have good grip strength too! In fact, I found that I used a beam to press down on the handle to make the crimp. 1/2 isn't that bad. BOTH require some getting used to and the head is thick enough that you…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
