I didn't have to use the maximum suction power with this vacuum cleaner, I usually only use the 1st suction level for floors and hard surfaces, the 2nd level for carpets and car interiors, especially the long suction tube can be used with the 2nd level. Suction power level works in almost all hard-to-reach places in the house. I know when I bought this I was wondering how it would do with Dyson. So here is my review compared to Dyson Animal. Pet fur: I have a cat and two dogs (a spitz) so we have fur.
