Glad I bought this golf bag

Just used this bag while playing golf and it was great especially for the price. I was able to put my clubs in the bag, the soft sided cooler and my golf shoes/socks that were in the bag. No it doesn't have wheels but for my occasional use it's perfect. I was able to slip my arm under the straps and wear it over my shoulder which made carrying it much easier. Very glad I bought it. Just to give you an idea, I'm a 5'3" female.

The bare minimum of protection when these clubs fly by plane.

The bare minimum airlines will accept as club protection and they are right. I still had to sign a waiver to use the hard case. The case and the carrying handles are quite robust. Lightning seems strong enough. I still used a 1/2 inch dowel slightly larger than my longest driver and adorned it with a tennis ball. I wrapped the racquet heads individually in bubble wrap and zipped them up for shipping. Nothing was damaged in transit from South Florida to Michigan and back.

I've read some of the recent negative reviews and the quality control may have gone down, but mine is still in great condition after a dozen or so rides. I took a telescopic safety cane to protect my driver and 3W and am happy with the purchase. The only downside is that it doesn't roll, but I usually use my lighter golf bag and…

Great travel bag! - Travel Case

I took my clubs to Hawaii and it did a great job of protecting my clubs. It's soft but lacks support near the clubheads. If you worry about damage in this aspect, please buy a pole for protection. This duffel bag is much cheaper and really good quality. I'm glad I bought it. You should also consider how often you will actually be traveling with your clubs. If you travel maybe once a year or infrequently, I don't think you need to buy something more expensive if you can't afford it. There was…
