Inexpensive and great knife.

Chef's knives are an essential kitchen tool and come in a wide range of prices. This chef's knife comes at a great price and still does everything well. Nicely balanced, easy to grip and most importantly it picks up and holds a thin sharp edge.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Get 8 " or Professional Series

YES Henckels is my favorite knife brand and I love the 8" chef's knife. This knife is too narrow when squeezed and it hurts my hand. The balance is also a bit off. So I only use this knife 5% for knitting large items like watermelon and pizza.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Modern

Good value but less than good finishes.

The overall finish wasn't quite ready yet. I had to round off the entire upper, tiling and upper to give the fit and feel you would expect. However, the price did not surprise me. Now this is an exquisite and very finished blade, comfortable and sexy to use.

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Some problems

The perfect knife for a 1.80m man, but my 1.50m wife loves it too!

I got this knife after using an old knife of this brand at my parents'. The 10" JA Henckels knife is perfect for such a good price and great quality. Cuts tomatoes like butter! The 10" 6.2" diameter blade is perfect but I found my wife to use it as a paring knife It easily cuts cucumbers and courgettes lengthwise.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Amazing kitchen knife

Great chef's knife. It came pretty sharp (enough for use) and has a lot of weight. The first task was to cut tough old turnips and potatoes for the soup, which this knife handled very well. I then used it to thinly slice the cabbage and it never wavered. This knife is also gigantic - it's the largest kitchen knife I've ever held in my hands - but the weight and balance combine to make it very precise to use.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

good knife in Accessories for cutlery and knives

After reading the reviews for this knife I was concerned about the quality. As I own German Henckel knives, I can say that the quality of this knife is pretty good. Of course, the quality of the metal does not correspond to that of German knives. But it's still a very good knife. I don't know how people's tips broke, probably because they were dropped or someone was looking at them, but it would snap any knife. Like any other knife, they need regular sharpening.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

This knife is not a high quality kitchen tool

I ordered a 10 inch knife to help butcher whole chickens and large groceries and I prefer the traditional lined shape. When it arrived, I immediately remarked "what a light knife. I need a sturdy blade. I also noticed how thin the blade was, it bent very easily, it wasn't too sharp, and the edge of the blade wasn't sharpened at the same angle all the way. The stock also protrudes from the back of the grip and the edges are quite sharp and uncomfortable. about 10 years; It's heavier, the blade…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
