🎧 Jabra Motion UC Bluetooth Headset - Black (Retail Packaged) Review

First of all I've been a LONG customer of Jabra, I love the Wave. Days, same problems below with both. - Poor range, had issues in pocket - Volume control is ridiculously sensitive. As a man I have short hair, I have a business cut, but I could always tell when I needed a haircut because the hair around my ear was raising the volume in the middle of the call button function. Double clicking doesn't always work. Narrator almost never works. Less than half as comfortable as a wave.

While I really like the sound quality and connectivity (seamless and reliable connection to both my laptop for Skype calls and my mobile device), the fit and battery life aren't the best. I may have oddly shaped ears, but I've tried all ear tips and configurations and couldn't get the earbud to fit my ear snugly. The overlay design doesn't help as I occasionally wear glasses. If you use a phone I would say this is a great buy. If you're looking for a great dual phone headset, I wouldn't recommend Jabra. These are great headsets, but in dual phone mode they have some very annoying features that other manufacturers don't have. If you turn off phone #1, phone #2 will NOT become phone #2, meaning your hands are only free to answer a call. You need to turn your headset off and on again to fix the problem. Pros: I've been using this headset for a little over a year. I particularly liked the noise cancellation. The mute button on the microphone boom was a nice feature. The rotary lever for switching on and off was practical. It was also useful to be able to press the button on the ear to see how much time the battery has left. available UPDATE April 24, 2015 (about a year later). Functionally, this Jabra Motion UC Bluetooth headset still works. The connection is good with iPad, iPhone and Android. Never "fit" in the ear. The inner ear cup is about twice the size of any in-ear/earbud I've ever used - it's thick, even with the smallest rubber outer shell - it doesn't matter.
