Good BT hands-free kit, many uses, buy it yourself.

I use it occasionally in the car but mostly I use my Jawbone which is much better than this speakerphone. Auxiliary radio input, this little gem saves my ass. I can connect it to my Blackberry Storm and stream Bluetooth to the SP700 and the SP700 has a built in FM transmitter. So basically I can listen to my music no matter where I am. Placing the SP700 in the back seat closer to your 'glass mounted' antenna will improve reception as local stations tend to jam you out of most channels. BUT…

First impression = Pretty good device

I bought this item because Oregon just passed a hands-free law and I really dislike using on-ear headsets. I was drawn to this particular item because it has a more hands-free feel than a headset (no fiddling around turning on and plugging in ear) and will presumably play music from my phone (as well as caller music). voice) over my stereo. Other reviewers also stated that the device turns off automatically when the phone goes out of range, meaning the battery can last for days or weeks on a…

Jabra SP700 Bluetooth Heaven

Pros: The Jabra SP700 speakerphone is fairly easy to learn and use. Setting up Bluetooth was a little tricky at first, but go to their website and download the full guide for more info on how to enable it (it was also in the quick start guide, just not as clear). I like a button on/off/answer/hang up/redial. Very clear voice commands and caller ID messages allow you to make the right decisions about taking calls without taking your eyes off the road. Decent battery charge time (I get @ 1 week…

Works with iPhone 3.0

I have previously purchased 2 of these units from Costco for about $70 each and have been using them for about 3 months. I was pleased to learn that this unit is now available through Revain for about half the price and I have just bought a 3rd unit for my mum. I used to use a device with a built in speaker as the sound quality from the FM station was pretty crappy. .With the latest firmware update of my iPhone 3G to version 3.0, my iPhone now supports A2DP. I'm happy to report that the device…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Small parts

This device is quite easy to use and the quality is very good, I've even used it in a noisy camper van and got good results. a feature that streams audio to your car's radio instead of the built-in speaker. This works just as well as most FM modulators (like those available for MP3 players, for example). It's pretty reliable once you find the perfect frequency, but once you get out of your town you should find a frequency that works well for your goal. I only use the FM function when I'm in my…

Good product with some limitations

I've been using the product for about a month and overall I'm happy with it. The product's size and design are great - you won't even notice it on your car's sun visor. It takes a bit of time to figure out where to press for certain functions as there are no obvious buttons for many functions. Rather, you have to press somewhere else on the device's smooth surface to turn it on/off, make/end a call, etc. Initial setup and connection with my Blackberry Storm was easy and I had no problems.
