Sound quality and fit just aren't for me

I have the 65t and 75t Elite Sport models. I lost my 75t buds (ahh!) and decided to try the 85t. Even with the biggest tip, I can't get them to stay in my ear long enough to say they're better. They are heavier, thicker and to be honest I don't find the sound quality as good (certainly not better) than the 75t. Even using an equalizer, something with high frequencies just doesn't work. The body is slightly larger (taller), but not by much. Many professional and user reviews praise the good fit…

  • Decent performance

Jumps better than the Jabra 75t.

After trying many different wireless headphones, I finally settled on the Jabra 85t. The main reason for this was the fact that they have an open-back design, which I find much more comfortable than the closed-back design of most other headphones I've tried over the years. I first tried the 75t but found that due to their closed design, my footsteps buzzed in my ears while walking, which was unacceptable. Because of the difference between open and closed headphones, I found that there is…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Functionality

I love these headphones. PROS: They look good, they charge wirelessly (perfect for my Pixel 5 which becomes a wireless charger when plugged in). The music sounds clear and beautiful. The app is very user friendly. CONS: They don't work that well on Zoom calls, voices sound computerized and cluttered. My biggest complaint: I was on the phone while I was cooking spaghetti. Shouldn't sound too bad, right? My mother (whom I spoke to) was completely distracted by the noise in my kitchen. She said…

Pros
  • Perfect for a small home
Cons
  • Good but not perfect

Two mistakes too many for flagship headphones

Good:1. Very good sound. Not as much bass as its predecessor, the 75t, but that seems intentional. The 85t seems built for realistic sound, or the sound the artist's sound engineers intended. As an indicator of improved sound quality, the drivers (speakers) on the 85t are twice the size of those on the 75t.2. Charging case upgrade, e.g. B. wireless charging. bad1. Incredibly inconvenient and annoying Bluetooth connection issues. This is the main reason for my 2/5 rating. True flagship Bluetooth

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Very expensive

Inferior to Jabra 65t

I've had a Jabra 65t since it came out and I'm very happy with it. I was really looking forward to the 85t. I pre-ordered it and have been using it for a few weeks. And that left me quite disappointed. First the positive. Comfort: The 65t fit my ear perfectly and I never felt uncomfortable. But 85t are more comfortable. Case and battery: These also slide into the case more easily with magnets, and USB-C and battery life are better. And the sound quality is better than the 65t, but not in a…

I would give 3.5 stars for headphones

I use Jabra products almost every day and have the 65t Elite Sport and 75t Elite as a reference. Sound: The sound quality is roughly the same as that of the 75t. That said, solid 4/5, the bass is pretty decent but when you listen there's distortion and muddyness. I can pretty much ignore that since I mainly use it at the gym. Reception: Phone reception (I carry mine in my left front pocket) seems to be a bit better, but it still gets interrupted sometimes, for example when I lean forward to tie

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are defects

Not that bad, best with headphones

Update 11/04/2020. To eliminate the seemingly poor ANC I switched to a larger earbud and what a difference. ANC is actually pretty good right now. For the first time I've had to use a large ear tip on any of my previous headphones, including the 75t and 65t. The large earbud hurts my left ear after a while, so for me it's a compromise between comfort and active noise cancellation. By playing with the EQ settings I was able to improve the sound enough that the difference with the Bose isn't as…

Pros
  • This is amazing
