Disposable Pack - Pink = Magenta

I ordered pink dye and my clear/yellow champ disc came out purple/red. I wasn't expecting a solid neon pink, but I was hoping the pink would be lighter than the magenta. The dye comes in two parts: a liquid in a tear-open pouch and a powder in a plastic shrink bag. Which makes it very difficult to reuse. I was able to put the liquid in a bottle and the color powder in a ziplock bag so I could use it multiple times. I drew the disc golf. Initially, the disk was yellowish transparent with some…

A custom ombré wedding dress

I wanted to dye my dress purple pink and it worked great for the job. It seemed so expensive to look like an ombre wedding dress. I bought a dress at a thrift store, shortened it myself, and then dyed the skirt. I didn't color the lace overlay as previous photos of people doing it seemed to color it a lot. I stirred the hot pot on the stove and then put all the soil in. (I turned the petticoat inside out to keep it out of the pot.) It turned out just how I wanted it. If I wanted it even darker,

Well it works but it doesn't look like it does on the box

In general I would say the dye works. And they're definitely dead things in different shades of pink. It looks brown in a pot and on a paper towel. But after you bring it to a boil, it turns an odd shade of brownish-purple. I also used it in high concentration. Apparently you can mix a lot more water with it and it will be a lighter shade of pink. I wanted to try using a high concentrate to see how pink it turned out.
