Review on Jacquard IDYE 456 IDye Poly Grams by Carol Miller

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Well it works but it doesn't look like it does on the box

In general I would say the dye works. And they're definitely dead things in different shades of pink. It looks brown in a pot and on a paper towel. But after you bring it to a boil, it turns an odd shade of brownish-purple. I also used it in high concentration. Apparently you can mix a lot more water with it and it will be a lighter shade of pink. I wanted to try using a high concentrate to see how pink it turned out. As the product was used, the water evaporated and it became more concentrated. But at the same time I think most of the matrix was used up for the first few details and then it got lighter and lighter as I continued. I have painted for various themes. I found that it reached maximum darkness after about 2 minutes. I don't know why this product says hour. I tried four different items because I know the fabric can vary. All of these things are synthetic spandex and nylon. These photos show that not all fabrics are the same. All fabrics started out as white. So if you choose this product just know it will not look like the picture and as Forrest Gump's mother said, "You never know what you're going to get." I hope my review was helpful. If so, click "Useful" and it will move up for others to see.
