Don't judge them until you've ridden them properly.

Good shoes after breaking in. Performance was very poor initially until I actually warmed up the pads and rotors to transfer the compound to the rotors. . Find a long (6 blocks or more) hill to smash them.

Color may need sanding

I really like these pads. Nice and quiet, my only issue is that my Juicy 7s are very tightly machined. I had to sand the paint off the sides of these pads to keep them from sticking, otherwise great pads. I paired them with new 180mm Avid G3 Clean rotors.

I wish they had lasted longer.

I bought these knowing that Jagwire makes quality products despite their typically higher price tag. However, they did not last more than a month of continuous driving. I have third party pads that have lasted much longer. For the price, I wouldn't recommend it just for durability. Used in Avid BB7 with 160mm rotor.

Like a whole different set of brakes

Ordered these for BB7 brakes and they are much better than the original pads. Quiet, smooth and grippy. They work wet or dry and are responsive even in hot weather. Everything I buy from Jagwire seems to work great and this is no exception. They even look cool; not that I have a great chance of seeing them in a caliper, but I know they are there :).

I think the stock AVID BB7 brake pads were better.

I've got about 1200 miles on these pads now on my 90 lb electric tadpole bike with 203mm rotors and BB7. They are ok but nothing special. Yes, they work, but the stock AVID pads they replaced with the previous smaller 180mm rotors had about the same stopping power as those pads that ran on the larger 203mm rotors. They feel soft and plush compared to the stock AVID brake pads. So when it comes time to replace them, I'll probably go back to the stock AVID pads in the calipers, which also fade…
