Does not fit Sram Apex

Does not fit advertised Sram Apex brakes. They are very tight on the brakes, but there is a 1mm opening that your rotor will not fit. Don't worry and skip these

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Good but not perfect

found them at a local bike shop in Houston. They are .

Found these at a local Houston bike shop. They installed them and I rode the epic 28 mile IMBA trail the next day and three more trails over the following days. No problem.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Secret

As others have said, they do not fit all calipers, for which they are designed. j. I have red calipers and had to use a metal file along the top and bottom edges of the metal shoe to adjust it. The caliper alignment was adjusted, the system bled, the pad expanders replaced, but the brakes still rubbed on the rotor as if they were too thick. After 150-200 miles they're finally worn enough not to chafe. Yes, half the price of SRAM pads, but depending on your ride, it might not be worth the setupโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Trade-in availability

After sitting in a drawer for a while I finally got to use them as my current pads are almost completely faded. Unfortunately, to my surprise, these pads do not fit on my SRAM Red S700. Disc brake calipers, although the packaging clearly says they should fit. Since the CX1 and other SRAM road disc brake calipers are the same size, I don't think they will work with anything. In fact, one of the padding panels fits, albeit very tightly, and the other just doesn't fit. They are respectively 0.6mmโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Some competitors
Cons
  • Some problems
