Description of 💚 Jalousie 46 oz Green Clear Borosilicate Glass Water Pitcher - VJAL-GNWP

The borosilicate glass is more thermally shock resistant than other types of glasses, meaning it can stand a wide temperature range from -4 to 752 °F (-20 to 400 °C). All parts are microwave and dishwasher safe. The glass part is also oven safe. Do not heat in microwave while the lid is closed. Anti-slip silicone base for best protection. Sturdy and convenient grip handle makes it easy to pour. Filter design suitable for making ice tea and fruit-infused water. Twist the cap to switch from air-tight mode to opening mode for easy and clean storage. Make, serve, and store all in one pitcher. We recommend washing all components with warm water and soap before initial use and after every use.

Capacity is WRONG! in kitchen and dining room

The lid is strange but good. Biggest complaint is the capacity. The 46 ounce juice container filled this pitcher with 2-3 ounces. I would estimate its capacity to be around 43-44 oz. Very upset as I bought it specifically for this juice bottle.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says

Nice flat pitchers

These are great for small portions and don't take up much space in your fridge or cupboard. They're great for when you need to shake something or toss some ice cubes in your drink and then shake. cools the drink quickly. I am very happy with the casting. I have some issues with the way they designed the lid (arthritis in my thumb) and it's a bit difficult for me to turn the lid so you can pour, also it only seems to pour a small amount slowly. In general. I like it. Part of my problem may just…

Odd kitchen and dining room design

The construction of this 46-ounce louvered pitcher is needlessly complicated. I needed a milk container that was easier to hold than a carton and very affordable. But first it was incredibly difficult to open and then incredibly difficult to close. The weirdest thing is that the rim of the spout has a raised lip that keeps traces of milk outside the airtight jug after you've poured it, which can sour. Since it's less than $10, I use it instead of ice water. In the meantime, I've found the…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

This is NOT really 48 oz (not even 46 oz) practical capacity. It's more of a 44 on the underside of the lid which (as other reviewers have mentioned) is too difficult to open/close. And when the lid is in the "open" position, the flow rate is just over a drop. I read these reviews before purchasing but when I first got two of these the lids on both were a bit difficult to turn. But after several washes, the turning part of the covers began to move much harder. I would have sent them back, but I

the idea was good but poorly designed and processed

it would be ideal to take frozen juice to remove the lid and put it upside down on this container so that the defrost concentrate comes into the picture and then fill it with water. But there are problems. Frozen juice concentrates are 48 oz. But it's probably 45 ounces. The width of the frozen juice container is approximately 1/16 wider than the top will allow. It had to be precisely matched to these freeze concentrate containers. It is impossible to work with a screw cap. You need a very…

Inspect carefully before use

Failed to load media. I was very interested because I've always wanted a glass jug without a glass handle. The glass handle is very slippery with a wet hand and too cold in the fridge. was very happy when i found it. 2 ordered to match base price. When it was empty or filled with cold water I didn't see a problem. after adding hot water and lifting, the glass falls. Both handles fit one glass, both handles will not work with other glass. a glass is damaged. I don't like the blame game, who's to

Pros
  • Borosilicate glass is more resistant to temperature changes than other types of glass, meaning it can withstand a wide temperature range of -4 to 752°F (-20 to 400°C).
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great looking water jug - easy to close

I'm updating my previous 3 star review as the seller contacted me and gave me better instructions on how to close and open the lid. The trick to closing is to align the spout with the handle and then rotate it 180 degrees clockwise. Rotate counterclockwise approximately 90 degrees to open. I still can't quite close my nose. It doesn't let water through and the threading on the lid is so specific and tight that it appears sealed. So the hole is closed enough for my purposes, but for aesthetic…

Pros
  • Non-slip silicone bottom for better protection. The durable and comfortable handle makes pouring easy.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other options

Could be a little easier to close, but otherwise great!

I bought this for infused soda and cold drinks and it works well for both. But in order to understand how to close and open it, you need to study a little. To close, holding it towards you, align the pointed part of the top with the handle, then twist it to the left until the pointed part aligns with the spout of the pitcher. This ensures a good seal. To open, facing you again, twist the pointed part slightly to the right. You don't want the point to be fully aimed at you as it will be too…
