The construction of this 46-ounce louvered pitcher is needlessly complicated. I needed a milk container that was easier to hold than a carton and very affordable. But first it was incredibly difficult to open and then incredibly difficult to close. The weirdest thing is that the rim of the spout has a raised lip that keeps traces of milk outside the airtight jug after you've poured it, which can sour. Since it's less than $10, I use it instead of ice water. In the meantime, I've found the perfect jug for a liter of milk, the 41oz Bormioli Rocco Gelo jug, which I'm going to talk about.
