Outstanding quality for this price.

Had to deduct a star due to poor packaging. As others have said I had a dent in the edge that split the veneer. There were only slight dents on the shipping box, no breaks. Luckily it's at the back. The subwoofer is perfect for my aquarium room with a mini amp and small speakers in the corners of the room. sounds tight. Very important.

For small rooms and music

Came shabby. The vinyl sheet seems to be damaged fairly easily. The sound is normal for a children's subwoofer. The form factor is great if that's your constraint. Not bad for music, not great for theater, but better than nothing. I just made room for a bigger one. Suggest a high speed subwoofer if available, it's sooo much better for music and theatre. Twice as expensive, but the subwoofer will/should last 30 years. Just wasting your money, IMHO. Grab one at bargain prices and if you're on a…

Very good subwoofer

Bought a Jamo Studio Series S 808 subwoofer to complement the Jamo C 93 II speakers. Loudspeakers Jamo C 93 II out of the box have a fairly powerful bass. However, to get an even stronger bass sound, I bought a Jamo Studio Series S 808 subwoofer and couldn't be happier. Installation was easy. The sound is excellent and complements the Jamo C 93 II loudspeakers well. Although this subwoofer is smaller compared to the Klipsch and Polk subwoofers, space was my issue. The Jamo fits perfectly in my…

Brilliant design, but no subwoofer HT

Don't expect this to be a real home theater subwoofer. It is not. But if you have a small footprint and bookshelf speakers, it can add some much-needed bass for music playback and basic TV and movie watching. Add this to a full surround sound system and you'll be disappointed. Given those expectations and the size, it's pretty impressive and quite possibly the best WAF subwoofer ever made. Big black boxes that take up a lot of space look terrible in most small spaces. It looks like a small side

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Worked great for 6 months, second replacement amp is now dead

Update 2: replacement amp died like the first and the Klipsch support has not responded to my messages for 6 weeks. Obviously these little plate amps don't last very long. Edit: klipsch customer service sent me a new amp/control assembly and everything is working again. The support process was a bit strange; They didn't tell me what they were sending and I was a bit surprised to find a bare amp with all its circuit boards and wiring harnesses wrapped only in bubble wrap in an unmarked box. I…

Great subwoofer for a small room or office!

I was a little hesitant to buy this little 8" subwoofer as the price might be too good to be true, right? It's cheaper here at Revain than Crutchfield and for the price it's a very good deal the build quality is good the design is nice or retro (I have a walnut) this sub fits perfectly in my office and doesn't stand out in the corner of my office I have an area in my Office set up as an audiophile recording room with a Peachtree Nova300, Pro-Ject X9 turntable and KEF LS50 speakers I wanted some

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok
