Great little speakers!

These little speakers are amazing! MORE than enough for my office. The photo shows a hanging bracket attached to the speaker. (I saw someone ask if they can be hung or not.) Worth the money!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • A little repairability

Great sound quality for the price

These Jamo speakers are perfect for my desk. I have had a pair of Micca MB42X and prefer them. My child inherited good speakers. I have a Toppings PA3 and a Schiit Modi amp and they sound great when connected to both my PC and the Rasberry Pi4 with Roon/Qobuz.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • no car

Good and cheap speaker

I didn't expect this pair of speakers to satisfy me as the speaker cabinet looks "cheap" and the size is smaller than I expected. It satisfies my needs after I hooked it up to my Quad Vera Integrated Amplifier. I bought this because the amp needs lower sensitivity speakers to avoid pop noise when playing music with a Bluetooth connection. The woofer works great as I don't expect a low powered 4 inch woofer to perform as well as a larger one. Nice pair of speakers for a small hi-fi system.

Pros
  • Excellent for me
Cons
  • Some nuances

Great for the size

Fantastic bookshelf sized speakers. Wood accents are beautiful and certainly not cheap. The sound is fairly "flat/somewhat true" meaning the drivers don't add any extra bass; as i like. I wish the cones were Kevlar (not for the sound but for the durability) but for the price it's totally fine. I will be purchasing another pair after trying the current set for a month or two in studio monitoring. I will recommend these speakers to people who are looking for something that is affordable yet looks

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Bad points

adds surround speakers to my home theater

I have an S807 for the front speakers and this one for the rear speakers. I chose the S801 over the S803 because they were smaller, lighter and easier to mount on the wall. The brackets I used had clips on the sides for large bookshelves and these speakers are trapezoidal in shape with the front being slightly smaller than the back which is perfect for this type of bracket which I use in combination with a slightly downward facing speaker , doesn't slide down further as the back is wider than…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great sounding system

I bought a complete replacement surround system for my aging and not-so-good Bose AM15 satellite/subwoofer system. I broke my wife's "no furniture speakers" rule. (She's finally stopped complaining about how ugly they are.) After years of "suffering" over the sound holes on my old Bose system, I bought the Jamo Studio S system based on a top review in Sound and Vision -Magazine. R 809 speakers, 801 surround speakers, S 81 center speakers and S8 Atmos speakers that mount on top of the 809…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
