Jancy Slugger Coolant Can't Cut it

As a professional in Industrial and Scientific cutting tools, I was not impressed with this product. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice I can confidently say that this coolant did not keep my drilling process smooth and easy .While the price may be attractive, the downside of it clogging and leaving residue on my drill bit was not worth it..

Pros
  • Affordable price
Cons
  • Clogs and leaves residue on drill bit

The image is critically inaccurate. I bought this for difficult cutting with a small, slightly stiff drill press and wanted to use it in the picture to get the cutter closer to the spindle and reduce some of the flex and vibration compared to the chuck. To my dismay, I opened the box to find that I was being sold a 2MT jackhammer with about 4 inches of shaft extension between the cone and the coolant collar - almost twice the length shown in the picture. I had to use it, but it wasn't the tool…

Pros
  • Jancy Industrial mandrel fits 3/4" ring shank tool^ Industrial mandrels have an inductor to direct coolant through the tool^ Industrial mandrels have a 2" guide retraction system and a spring loaded ejection system^ Industrial mandrels come with coolant hose fitting and a folding rod to to prevent coolant flow A collar from a spinning rod
Cons
  • There are doubts
