Janome Free Motion Quilting Bobbin Holder & Hand-Look Quilt Stitch – Horizontal Rotary Hook Models Review

I was ready to love this but the fine print on the back of the box says it can't be used with machines equipped with an automatic thread cutter which I have. That's why I'm only giving it 3 stars so others don't make the same mistake. unfortunately had to be returned.

I ordered this last month and only used it today. I'm in love! You no longer need to adjust the top tension to get the desired result. Simply insert a new spool holder and you're done. So you don't just paste it in. It took me about 3 minutes to remove the plate, change the spool holder and reattach the plate. This included time to brush out the lint. Maybe when everything is on display. I definitely recommend this item!

The label for part number 020-006-008 was covered by another label which I removed and attached to the front of the blister pack. so I can take a picture before opening. There is NO blue dot on the spool holder. I have a Janome HD-5000 which uses the same parts as the HD-3000 and according to the Janome website this part number works with this machine. I'll be happy to check it out when I'm sure I have the correct part - I don't want to damage my car.
