Didn't fit my Accufeed Janome Horizion 8900.

This does NOT fit my Janome 8900 Horizion. It seems well made, but I can't confirm it works. The pin on this ruffle foot that snaps onto the machine's presser foot holder is smaller than mine. Therefore it cannot be attached to my presser foot holder. I'm very upset because I missed the return window by a day. :-( I think I will resell it on Ebay.

Pros
  • Able to make 3 types of bar tacks, one for each stitch, one for every 6 stitches and one for every 12 stitches. You can also adjust the bar depth.
Cons
  • Can't remember

Nice but unnecessary learning curve for the price.

You have to tighten the sewing needles in the machine with a screwdriver or the vibration of the winder will loosen the needle and, like me, you'll find more broken needles in an hour than you ever thought possible. Also make sure to align the position of the needle with the hole in the picker, otherwise the needles will break. Ruffler is great but expensive and noisy and there are no directions. I've used Ruffler on several brands of machines but they had considerably more instructions on all…

Pros
