Does the job! Worded a little oddly.

works! It's a bit odd to put it in - you have to place it at a weird angle for it to snap into place, unlike a regular foot (I discovered this while watching foot videos on YouTube so check it out, if you are confused too). when it's there, it's wonderful.

Almost perfect for sewing machine parts and accessories

This foot holds buttons perfect for machine sewing. (Don't forget to lower the feed dog!) This can be improved by adding an adjustable pin to create a thread shank like the Bernina button foot. The leg creates space between the button and the fabric for easy attachment. The Janome foot requires you to hold the sewing needle awkwardly while sewing if you want to create this space.

Pros
  • So far satisfied

Works well, but not magically.

Works but would work better if the front and back were a bit longer. The bottom buttons are a bit loose. It would be nice if they thought about ways to keep the threads from over-tightening. That means I inserted a needle between the foot and the button, and it would be nice if that was built into the foot somehow. Overall, I'm not convinced that this foot is much more comfortable to use than any open forefoot. .

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
