Very happy with this

Very happy with it. Driven up to 30k, no vibrations. It sounds like a jet engine - not exactly ours, but it sounds cool when it's spinning. easily 3x quieter than the router I use.

Pros
  • Collet Er20
Cons
  • Dear

Good price with an acceptable beat.

I found both the spindle and this VFD acceptable and good value. Both connect to my KRMx02 CNC effortlessly and in full control. However, the spindle runout is not less than 0.005mm. This is closer to 0.00635mm (0.00025 inch) but is acceptable. I also have a water-cooled spindle with almost the same runout. I would and will recommend this combo to my KRMx02 readers.

Pros
  • Four bearings in the spindle motor
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

No problems, works great!

I have had this spindle for a little over half a year. It hasn't been used enough to say anything about its performance over its lifespan, but so far it's done a great job for me. I originally got this working on a small DIY CNC router using 8mm screws and cheap 8mm rails. After learning some tutorials I built a bigger and stiffer machine using 20mm linear guides and ball screws. I'm driving the spindle of a new machine, cutting aluminum, steel, wood, you name it. The spindle works quite well…

Pros
  • RS485 communication port Compliant with international standard MODBUS main circuit control 1.5KW 2HP VFD
Cons
