Great little pencil sharpener.

After trying a number of electric pencil sharpeners which were initially good but after a while began to sharpen and skip I bought this on base sharpener Feedback from people who have had the same experience as me. I was not disappointed. This sharpener always delivers the perfect edge, even with pencils that have a wood-covered lead on one side. In the past I've scraped wood and tried leveling it with a sharpener, but the results have been uneven at best. With Jarlink, I just stick a pencil in

Far exceeded my expectations. . .Sounds trite? I bought this for my workshop to make precise marks on the material I'm cutting. After a box of #2 pencils I'm ready to buy a few more. It always gives me a tip that isn't too sharp and brittle but perfect for a clean, precise line to follow when cutting real material. Other sharpeners I've bought, all much more expensive, literally ate pencils to get a usable point. Either the tip is too sharp and brittle, or it is not effective at removingโ€ฆ

Completely useless

I don't know what to say about the other positive reviews here, it's junk. It feels cheap, the motors feel jerky and it just doesn't sharpen a pencil in a usable way. I've tried different pencils and you can feel the motors moving and not sharpening evenly around the tip. This means all of my pencils had wood on one side around the tip making them completely unusable. every time Too easy. You must sharpen and hold it with both hands as the motor torque rotates and moves the device. The goodโ€ฆ

Fast and Durable

This is a great pencil sharpener; Excellent quality, perfect size and excellent job of sharpening, fast and without wood roughness. The spiral blade is durable and should last for years. It's definitely not loud! Not only did this sharpener come with a power cord, it also came with a real plug which is never included with most similar items. It can be powered by cord OR battery, actually four AA batteries which are not included. I've used it both ways and both worked the same way with no lossโ€ฆ
