Works as intended. Be careful not to overtighten the round locknuts. The good news is that it can be easily attached with super glue.

Glad to find them. I have a JBL satellite system and wanted to add two additional JBL speakers with the new receiver. One always felt that the weight of the speakers was too much for the material used, but they held up and didn't let them down.

This is my personal opinion now. I am returning this item because I didn't want to trust the brackets that hold my 8 foot tall JBL speaker. The long bracket is metal and the rest of the fasteners are plastic. You know what will happen to plastic in 10 years.

The package was missing a 'cable' which provides a secondary safety should the ball joint fail. I've used it in other assembly kits and prefer it although it's not required. The included product documentation even shows it as a part that should be there, but it isn't.

Almost a great product. In some places, however, this product proves to be too brittle. #1 - You will need to snap the round ball joint into its socket after installing it in the wall. Only do this once. The practice of reassembling the assembly loosens the fingers on the ball joint and leads to subsequent failures. #2 - Don't use a tie rod. A very small amount of torque will crack the bushing where the rod is inserted. If using a rod binder, limit yourself to 1/4 turn. Recommendation: You need
