- I am writing a review after a month of daily use for 6-10 hours. Every day I communicate via voice (Discord, MS Teams), listen to music (, Spotify, YouTube), watch movies and play games. From main: - The sound quality is great! Both at low volume and at high volume. I don't want to shoot. - I hear interlocutors in the voice well and clearly. - If you want more bass - the equalizer significantly regulates them. There is even a BASS BOOST preset. But I'm comfortable with the FLAT preset. - Comfortably sit on the head. I was afraid that my ears would sweat because of the leather ear pads. But with an adequate temperature in the room (< 25 degrees), fears were not justified. - They write that the neck gets tired from older models (600, 800). Quantum 400 is lighter and does not feel on the head. I found them even lighter than my other SteelSeries gaming headsets. - The interlocutors in the voice say that they hear me well: the sound is clear and loud. - Convenient and smooth volume control on the headset itself. - Mute the microphone by lifting it or by a separate button on the headset. The backlight of the microphone tells you whether it is on or not. - I liked the function of the monitors - when you hear yourself, when you speak into the microphone. The volume level is adjustable up to mute. This removes the effect of "buzzing" in your ears, as if you are talking with earplugs, and it is very comfortable to talk. - Additional Chat/Music adjustment. When connected via USB, the headset is defined as two devices: one you use in communication applications (Discord), and output the rest of the sound to the other. And with a separate regulator on the headset, you adjust the balance: if you want to temporarily make the music or the sound in the game louder, and the interlocutors are quieter, you tweak it and you're done. You don't have to go through app settings. From the secondary: - Beautiful packaging! Perfect for a gift. - After installing JBL QuantumENGINE (this is a driver / settings panel), a firmware ate immediately came. It's good that even after the release, engineers fix bugs. - The price is lower than for analogues from SteelSeries (I'm talking about the Arctis series).
- - USB-Type-C cable included is very long and hard. I used the cable from my Xiaomi phone. I didn't like the backlighting. Seemed twitchy. I would like a calm smooth change of colors. In the end, I turned it off completely. You can't see it on your head though :-)
