I am the typical male who does things on an anal level. So first I took a clean rag with gasoline and rubbed each loop so I knew it would be 100% clean. Then after attaching them to the door hinge, I took a hair dryer and heated them up and pressed them tight because it was cold today. When you snap the smaller round hinge cover into place, hold it in place. I have a rounded edge on one side and a sharper edge on the other. I put the rounded edge up.
