Didn't work in fuel pumps and accessories

Didn't work, fuel wasn't pumping, spent 3 hours trying to figure it out. I ordered a new one from a different manufacturer and the mower started right away.

Loaded for a long time.

There should be a warning about removing the caps. It's too easy to skip and install a hose over it, causing the pump to malfunction.

Works great, easy to install

My husband installed this fuel pump on our lawn mower in less than 2 minutes - easy and intuitive. This is a great product and has been cutting grass like a champ ever since. :) Works perfectly!

Will not fit or replace Kawasaki 49040-0770 Fuel flow in fuel pump is in the opposite direction.

Will not fit or replace Kawasaki 49040-0770 Fuel pump flows in opposite direction. The pump requires upside-down or upside-down installation and lengthening of all connecting hoses. Designed for right engine mounting, not left, which fits most conventional Kawasaki.

Misdirection for parts

The description says the old pumps had the wrong direction, but the "new" pumps have the right direction. I assume they sent me the old one because after installing it and without draining the fuel I turned it around and of course the inlet and outlet are reversed. Don't trust the description. I wouldn't let it be returned either because it was outside the return window. Would not recommend this seller.

Not bad, but be careful.

After a 5 minute install I was unable to let the gas through and get to the carburetor. I installed it exactly as I took it off and both mounting bolts ended up right where the old fuel pump was. After losing my hair from frantically pulling it out, I finally found that the entrance and exit had been reversed. In other words, entering through the front door and exiting through the back door works best. As seen in the photo, I had to replace the hose to the carburetor with a longer one in order…
