I thought these scissors were a great idea but they don't cut soft fresh herbs at all. Parts easily bend or get caught in the teeth of the scissors. Using a sharp knife is much faster and requires a lot less cleaning. I bought 3 pairs as gifts but decided to give them to my local thrift store instead.

I bought them as a paper shredder. I live in a very small apartment and don't have room for an electric shredder so I bought these. I was worried if they would work or not but they work great! It can't cut more than two pages very well, but I only use it to cut checks and bank junk mail. It has made my life so much easier in this age of identity theft concerns.

I love growing herbs and using them in salads, soups and many other dishes. I received these Jenaluca herb scissors for my birthday and can't believe how quick and easy it was to cut cilantro, basil, parsley, lovage etc very quickly. The reservoir cleaner is also designed to be very efficient. I ordered 4 of these sets to give away.

Pros: + Easy to clean when soaked in water + Cuts most food accurately without anything sticking to the blades + Sharp and comfortable to hold Cons :- Be careful not to stress them too much (like cutting something too big) as they may break. Depending on your skill level, it may be easier to use a regular kitchen herb knife. As with any pair of scissors, holding them tightly for long periods of time can cause your hand to hurt.
