Jensen JWM60A: Powerful AM/FM/DVD/CD/USB/AUX Bluetooth Wallmount Stereo with App Control and Multiple Format Playback Review

Works when she wants. The bluetooth on this radio is terrible. Once connected it works great as does the iPhone xsmax Jensen app. The biggest problem is that once disconnected, you can't reconnect without restarting the device. It will also randomly try to connect when you are in range. We need more companies to make RV A/V. Maybe a Blu-ray player?

I had to expand the case a bit, which wasn't difficult with the help of a multi-tool. Sounds good. USB only plays audio and photos, but does not support video. :( Bluetooth I was able to connect to my phone but no sound came out. I didn't care. DVDs played fine and audio CDs sounded great. FM worked fine but couldn't tune into an AM station, neither did those previous unit I replaced.

No complaints, I particularly like the subdued lighting as the previous one lit the sleeping area at night. The wiring was pretty easy if you can read the basic schematics. When installing, be sure to check clearances as the "footprint" was larger than the original installation, so the cabinet required some modifications. It was also pretty easy to install. Haven't used all of the features yet, but there is some confusion with Bluetooth communications.

Well marked wiring harness on this new Jensen model but no instructions on how to adapt connectors to several older models or wire colours. This makes it difficult for the average consumer to plug it in as a replacement device, perhaps without assistance. The old Jensen remote also worked with this new model, which was handy and helpful with the new model. We love this new model and are glad we replaced the old CD/DVD model that no longer works.

The DVD player works quite well and sounds decent, but that's more due to my monitor and speakers than the player. In fact, the device doesn't work at all with an iPhone or Google phone except via a Bluetooth connection. USB is only for flash drives with MP3 files. I professionally installed this unit, but my TV won't play through the AUX ports. The device ejects DVD or CD after a few seconds. The troubleshooting guide says this means you need to remove the transport screw. except this device doesn't have it. Or at least a microscopic enumeration of every millimeter of this entity's body does not find it. I even removed all shortcuts. I had to splice wires to connect it to the van but it worked fine! I bought this unit a little over a year ago for my Class B RV. It worked great initially but now it gets rough when I try to watch DVDs. I don't know which turntables Jensen or Asa Electronics used on this unit, but it sucks. I bought this unit to replace a cheap unit that came factory installed in my caravan. As others have pointed out, I had to enlarge the hole a bit to fit, but it didn't make much of a difference. We ordered this product and after carefully installing it in our caravan according to the manufacturer's instructions, the DVD player began to malfunction about halfway through each movie.
