If you're expecting Jensen, don't order this. Jensen wasn't even written on the box when it was delivered. You get absolutely crappy sounding speakers.

Nice package, full midrange, if you want to expand the system and only need midrange, this is for you. It's NOT Jensen, it's ASA, which stands for Audiovox Special App! It's clearly printed on the speaker ID tag inside. You have to take it apart to install the speaker wires and that's when I saw it was an Audiovox.

This is for the inside of the boat cabin so there isn't much room. They're small and easy to install, but the sound quality is terrible! We can tolerate listening to an audio book, but the music is of very poor quality. We threw away the packaging so we'll stick with them for now. I doubt ordering anything else. It's best to listen to something live to judge the sound for yourself. I cannot recommend them.

Installed them on my classic car which didn't have front speakers. The sound quality is ok - I hooked it up to a relatively low powered amp so I probably didn't get the full effect. They have good, heavy magnets - so they probably have more potential than I realize. If you're looking for audiophile quality you should probably buy something else, but there aren't many options for compact surface mount speakers. By the way, this is definitely not a Jensen product.
