Disappointing Purchase

As an industrial and scientific professional, I was disappointed by this product. While it did manage to perform some chamfering, the quality was poor and the tool quickly became dull. The price point is not reflective of the poor quality, the product is not worth the investment.

Great for use on a mini CNC

Works great on aluminum although I've mostly used it on materials like Derlin. Also works great with other machined plastics.

Rough, fuzzy surface, not very sharp

I don't know if I'm wrong, but this v-bit doesn't make very clean cuts like others I've tried from Yonico , Whiteside, etc. V-carving black acrylic on my CNC makes the lines very blurry. I found a use for this by making the Vcarve depth very small (0.4-0.5mm) resulting in a rough white finish. On the black acrylic that goes with my coaster project it leaves some burrs on the edges that can be rubbed off with a finger or brush so this purchase wasn't a total waste. not suitable for acrylic so I…
