💧 High-Performance Jet Pump for Shallow Wells - 3/4 HP - Efficient Water Supply Solution Review

You can't go wrong with a pump from Sta-Rite. My husband was a well fabricator and Sta-Rite was their brand of choice. These are very reliable pumps. We use this pump on our side well to water our garden and the difference in water pressure is tremendous compared to the pump we bought from the Tractor Network store less than 5 years ago and it has already established itself.

Works great in my rig as a booster pushing water about 15ft . from a 3,000 gallon household tank up the hill. I had some trouble getting it to work with my odd collection of pressure tanks and it went through a number of quick cycles initially (and briefly) but didn't seem to wear out any worse. Has been working flawlessly for 8 months. I have full confidence that it will last for many years.

I have had one of these pumps for at least 13 years, it has been used as a booster for the town water supply (we are on a mountain above a water tank). I say AT LEAST 13 years because the pump was already running when we bought the house 13 years ago. It drew water from the city several hundred yards down the slope. Star-rite makes great pumps. Star-rite and Myers pumps (two of the finest pumps available) are now owned by Pentair. I replaced the Myers pump with this Star-rite as the Myers 3/4hp was temporarily out of stock. Installation was easy and the pump has been working very well so far. I hope the quality of this new Star-rite block lives up to the reputation of the older Star-rite blocks. FYI: Other brand pumps sold at local stores/Lowes/Menards/etc are junk.
