The materials for this scooter are very cheap. The headlights heated up the brake pads (on 2 different scooters!) so much that the brake pads melted! One more melted my daughter's sandal, which was about to break. The design of this scooter is cheap and dangerous.

What my son likes is that the ride seems smooth and he likes the headlights from above and below. What I didn't like was that the headlights quickly broke from below. Wheel lights work well. The steering wheel and steering wheel spun all the time and he didn't like that. (Note that the more expensive the scooter, the better it is.)

Bought for my son for his 5th birthday. It was a great success. My 8 year old loves that it lights up. Don't forget to put 3 double A batteries at the bottom as the tires will light up automatically. The lights are bright and have many different functions. My 8 year old daughter is 5ft and rides it with no problem. I would say 3 to 12 years for that

Hello - Overall product is great, waited a few weeks to write a review to see how the product would outlast my busy 7 year old boy who does everything is tough - not bad overall - for the price - seems to have held up for the past few weeks - I gave it a 4/5 for durability because with basic use - some areas feel free - we've had other scooters and this one was spot on for the price and i would probably buy it again for my youngest son. Gratitude!

LED lights on the underside of the scooter and on the steering column don't work out of the box. As other reviewers say, putting a paper towel in the battery holder seemed to temporarily depress them enough to make firm contact, but on my son's first swipe, the light stopped working again. I filled out a form directly on their website and they ask for serial numbers, videos of the problem etc which is silly. Obviously this is a known issue by reading the reviews here. Such a shame.
