Useless Gadget: Don't Waste Your Money!

After trying this gadget, I'm convinced it's a total waste of money. It's made of flimsy plastic that easily falls apart, and the adjustable connectors simply don't work properly. The only positive thing I can say is that it's easy to use, but that's hardly enough to justify the cost. Save yourself the frustration and invest in a more reliable and better quality product.

Good product but does not work with self-sealing refrigerant bottles

A well made and overall really good tool kit for changing the coolant in your car (and possibly your home) but keep in mind that the faucet doesn't work with self-sealing refrigerant bottles, that's why I bought another one, so check if your refrigerant cans are self-sealing or not before you buy .

Valve lifters are good. Worked as expected. I felt more valuable than before.

They worked fine and replaced another type that didn't have port valve stem plugs. This style is definitely better. The ability to close the port valve before the connector is unplugged ensures that very little freon is lost. The only thing to note is that it is a bit harder to stick to the ports in the engine compartments since the hoses exit on the sides plugs at right angles. I also used a can opener which worked as expected.

The internal pin with a sharp end helps to pierce the R134A bottle easily and quickly. Use the 1/4" fitting on the side to snap the 1/4" female thread connections of the A/C gauge hose directly, and use the included tank adapter (1/4" female thread to 1/2 " external thread). , Bottle opener can also hook 1/2 inch female gauge hose.
