Description of Jim Beam JB0159, Heavy Duty Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet with Wooden Base and Mitt, Black, Small – Enhanced SEO

RIDGED SURFACE : The ridged surface allows you to get those perfect grill marks while draining the excess fat away. FOOD PREPARE AND SERVE : The Jim Beam skillet lets you prepare your food, like steak, or chicken or fish, over the stove or in an oven or on a BBQ, and the wood trivet helps you serve your delicious masterpiece, the pan is big enough to serve a meal for 2. Durability: Cast iron is incredibly durable. In fact, it’s not unusual for a cast iron pan to be used for decades without showing much wear or tear. Nonstick: Another benefit of Jim Beam cast iron is that when it’s seasoned and used regularly, it’s fairly nonstick, for cooks who prefer to avoid potentially harmful nonstick substances, the nonstick properties of cast iron are a huge plus. Imparts Iron: The Jim Beam Cast iron even has a health benefit: uncoated cast iron tends to leach small amounts of iron into food as it cooks. Item shape: Oval.

IT'S SMALL! ONE PERSON SERVED!

15" INCLUDES HANDLE. MY PHOTO SHOWS THE TRUE SIZE WITH A 10 OZ CONTAINER OF SALT. I EXPECTED YOU TO SERVE THE DISH BUT THIS DON'T EVEN SERVE TASTING WITH ONIONS ETC. FOR FAJA ETC. I will send it back the same day it arrived THE AMAZON PHOTO INCREASES THE SIZE SIGNIFICANTLY AND NO OTHERS LET THEM UNDERSTAND THEIR SELLING Truly a filet sized dish.

Excellent cast iron!

Easy to clean with kosher salt and water. It fries bacon well when cut in half and small steaks. Very small pan, not as big as advertised on the web. This is my introduction to the cast iron skillet, so it turned out to be the perfect size. Not too thick, very durable, easy to distribute warmth. After cleaning it up, I think I'm not quite ready for the Dutch Oven Combo Set.

IMHO just the right size

I buy cheap meat and I get this cheap cast iron to make it tasty. He does just that! It may be small, but I like searing a few steaks or pork chops one at a time and then popping them into a pan that I've heated in the oven to cook the rest of the way. The size makes it easier to clean later. I had no rust after 3 uses. I wash it with water immediately after eating, then put it in a hot oven to dry it completely, and then oil it.

  • pots and pans
Cons
  • boring packaging

single serving size. Huge logo 2 lot.

I love the decor but I don't like the huge logo on the wood and gloves. this logo (one star less). A pan didn't have the best pre-treatment and a little rust showed up after the first use, but it can easily be seasoned with oil. The remaining pans are pre-seasoned, non-stick and easy to clean. It's definitely an individual charge, so you need one per person, which is what I wanted for us. Due to Covid we are doing a "Restaurant" at home.
