Not a bad medium for the price. Mine is NOT fully waterproof (I personally tested it by immersion). It is naturally water repellent. Differences? Watertight means that no water below one of the limits listed for the device (maximum immersion depth) penetrates into the housing. Waterproof means that unpressurized water (splashes or rain) will generally not penetrate the case, but pressurized (submerged) water will eventually seep through. Honestly, this is a pretty big case. Seems well made; and swam, plus the inside stayed dry when dropped in water. However, because of its color, don't expect to see it at great distances or in choppy waters. Fluorescent orange would have been better.
