Switch to this hanger when you upgrade the plate. The previous hanger was taped where the hanger broke. It has always been difficult to attach a hanger to a mirror bar, and even removing it was often a chore. All that has changed with this magnet system. Just move the sign closer and "click" on it to hang it. Gently pull and move out of the way to release. Ideal! I don't know why anyone chose a loop instead of a mirror hanger.

Bought one of these for a parking pass for a local sports facility. I got the one with the bead chain magnet because I thought it would be more adjustable and therefore more versatile. Very embarrassing that everyone is giving bad reviews because the chain is too long and therefore hanging too low. The chain should be cut as needed (at least that was my guess). Ordered this knowing it was a big deal, I'd be fine. Just installed it on my Tacoma and after cutting it to length twice it fits perfectly. Now it will be much easier.
