🔍 Clear Anodized JLT Oil Separator 3.0 for Driver Side - 2014-2019 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3; Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 Review

I installed it 3000 miles ago and it was great. Definitely got what I expected. It must be deleted after 3K on Silverado 5.3 2015.

The mount was easy to install after watching the product video on AmericanTrucks.com. The product works as advertised and needs to be drained and cleaned approximately every 400 miles (every time you fill up).

Very nice design. It worked as described. Just remember to empty it. If you're only planning to keep your truck for a few years, I'd say no. In the long run, however, it will benefit your engine.

Very easy to install and 2015 Silverado5.3. it catches a lot of liquid. The only thing I didn't like was that the fittings in the glass are plastic and the way they are "straight down" let me know one was loose when trying to close the glass loosen and tighten while checking the progress.

Mandatory for any direct injection car like my 2017 Silverado. This is the easiest installation as it includes the factory hardware. Catches an incredible amount of oil that could otherwise deposit on the intake valves and cause a rough idle.

Installation took about 15 minutes with my stock air intake removed (a K&N air intake was also installed at the time) and it does what it was designed to do. Good quality and I've driven it about 700 miles, currently I'm urgently waiting another 1km to open the separator to see how much oil I have in the reservoir.
